By Car

 

Approaching from the North - Follow the A49 from Shrewsbury towards Leominster, about 1 mile after the village of Leebotwood turn right towards the village of All Stretton, Turn right just past the Pub ‘Yew Tree’ and go past the Village Hall. Carry on the single road until you go over a cattle crossing into Batch Valley. Go past the first car-park, the property is in front of the second car-park. Please park the car beside the second bridge in front of Lea Cottage.

 

Approaching from the South -  Follow the A49 towards Shrewsbury, some six miles after Craven Arms turn left at the Traffic lights on the A49 at Church Stretton. Turn right at the T-junction opposite the  HSBC bank. Carry on for about 1 mile and enter the village of All Stretton, turn left just past a stone wall adjacent to a large barn, go past the village hall. Carry on up the single track road until you go over a cattle crossing into Batch Valley. Go past the first car-park, the property is in front of the second car-park. Please park the car beside the second bridge in front of Lea Cottage.

 

 

By Rail

 

The Nearest Railway Station is at Church Stretton (1.7 miles away) it is on the Manchester to Cardiff line, with connections at Shrewsbury for Birmingham and Chester and the Welsh coast.

 

The station is also served by the Heart of Wales line service which operates to Swansea.

By Bus

Shuttle Bus

During the Spring and Summer there is a shuttle bus that covers a large part of the Long Mynd including All Stretton (a ten minute walk from Lea Cottage).

 

By Taxi

 

There are two Taxi Companies within a five minute walk from Church Stretton Railway Station.
